| Coating Line Loading |
|
This robotic cell utilizes a large vacuum gripper to move glass from one of two input racks onto a
horizontal conveyor feeding a coating line. Racks of lites are brought to the system by lift truck and
moved into the cell through large rolling access doors.
Variability of the rack positioning and the lean angle of the glass on the rack is measured by the
robot using specialized sensors in the end-effector tooling.

| Mirror Line Loading |
|
This cell automates the loading of a mirror line from boxed or racked glass. The glass
is delivered on a turntable to the robot. The robot changes its gripper head to suit the
package; reaching into boxed glass is tricky.
It uses a special peeling motion to break the seal and acquire the glass, one lite at a time.

Single-Use Camera Housings |
|
This robotic cell includes four Thermo-CRS robots to perform clean-up,
assembly and test tasks on returned single-use camera bodies.
Camera bodies have their viewfinder replaced, lens removed, shutter
wound and tested, and ink stamped by the main system. A packing
cell then places the completed assembly into a tray.
