High-Volume CNC Turning Machine Loading

This twelve robot system produces thousands of machined parts per day. In this case, speed was the driving force behind the design concept.

Opus Automation developed an overhead, linear 'flying' robot system to unload and reload four CNC lathes in each cell.

This design permits the operators to service the machinery for inspections and tool changes with no interruption of the automation. Opus delivered conveyors and cell control to feed the parts to and from the robots.
